1. Made a Cameo Appearance as an Infant
Only a few of his fans know that his first appearance in Telugu films was when he was only 8 months old. He appeared in Velugu Needalu (1961) starring his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

In 1967, he started his career as a child actor in the Telugu film ‘Sudigundalu.’ He played the role of Raja in the film, and his father played the lead role in the film.

He is among the few Indian actors who are well qualified. After completing his first year in Bachelor of Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, he further completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan, US.

Yes, Tabu is a fantastic friend of mine. our friendship goes way back, since I was 21 or 22 and she was just 16 years old.
