Before dating Naga, she was in a romantic relationship with the South Indian actor Siddharth. However, in 2015, the couple parted ways. Samantha was featured in the item song “Oo Antava” from the Superhit film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ (2021). According to the sources, the makers of the films had to convince her lot to do an item no, it was also said that she charged a huge amount for the song. According to a media source,
“Oh, she has charged a bomb for the Oo Antava dance number. Believe me, she was very reluctant. The film’s leading man Allu Arjun personally took the effort to convince her. They had to pay her close to Rs 5 crores for that 3-minute dance number. She had some reservations about some of the dance movements.
